Summer is here, movie theaters are still closed due to COVID-19, and no new movies are coming out. Thankfully, however, there is a solid batch of new titles heading to streaming services in June to make your movie-night-in a little more enjoyable.

Here is a list of the best new titles in June from Netflix, Disney+, Hulu and Amazon Prime:

“Clueless”

This 1995 teen comedy may seem silly, but it’s one of the most clever and funny adaptations of Jane Austen’s classic “Emma” and it still worth a watch 25 years later. (Yes, this movie is 25 years old.)

“Twister”

First things first, “Twister” isn’t necessarily a good movie, but it is an entertaining one — and that’s what we need right about now.

The premise is ridiculous, the acting hit-or-miss at best, and there’s a flying cow; but this movie is all about shutting your brain down for 90 minutes and just letting the tornadoes do their thing. “Twister” is now available to distract you on Netflix.
