‘Extraction 2′ is happening
Comb through the web and you’ll find explanations about Extraction’s ending and interpretations about Hemsworth’s final scene. His character, Tyler Rake, was seemingly dead at the end of the movie after being shot in the neck and falling off a bridge.
There was blood pouring out of his mouth and it looked like the end. But was it?
Perhaps not. According to Deadline, Joe Russo of the famous Russo Brothers and Netflix firmed up a deal for a sequel. They don’t know where the story is headed, but fans have their fingers crossed for more Tyler Rake.
Russo told the outlet, “The deal is closed for me to write Extraction 2, and we are in the formative stages of what the story can be. We’re not committing yet to whether that story goes forward, or backward in time. We left a big loose ending that leaves question marks for the audience.”
