Generation Z is, yet again, reminding us how old we are (as if we needed another thing to worry about in 2020).
Twins Tim and Fred Williams, 21, are going viral for their “First Time Hearing” YouTube series where they offer their live reactions to songs they’re hearing for the first time. So far, the twins have resurfaced Phil Collins’ 39-year-old classic “In the Air Tonight” and Dolly Parton’s 46-year-old “Jolene,” which has caught the attention of the country artist herself.
“Ooooh,” Tim cooed seemingly impressed with the guitar intro to “Jolene.” “I like the fast paced already … the guitar going crazy,” he said.
The brothers continued to bop their heads as Parton’s song played.
“Dolly, you got it,” Tim said. “I love storytelling songs too … this a banger.”
Parton took notice of the twins’ reaction video and shared it to her Twitter page Friday, writing, “No point in begging…Jolene already stole these two.”
