The duchess left lockdown wearing the perfect pair of sneakers.

Lockdown has begun to ease in the United Kingdom, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have made their first in-person visits since quarantine began.

Prince William paid a visit to Smiths the Bakers in King’s Lynn, a bakery which is reopening following an 11-week closure. The Duke of Cambridge met with the owners of Smiths the Bakers to talk about how the coronavirus pandemic has impacted their business.

Kate Middleton conducted her own solo visit, attending Fakenham Garden Centre in Norfolk to also meet with the staff and owners to find out how they are moving forward with their business now that lockdown is lifting.

For her first in-person engagement following quarantine, Duchess Kate wore a Jaeger shirt, Massimo Dutti pants, and a Fjällräven sormland padded vest, per @MiddletonMaven. The duchess kept her footwear simple by wearing a pair of Superga sneakers, which are still available to shop in similar styles and shades.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s official Instagram account shared snaps from the couple’s individual visits. The caption explained, “As non-essential shops start reopening in parts of the U.K., the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited two independent businesses to hear how they have been impacted by coronavirus, and how they are returning to a new normal.”
