The holidays are very different this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But you can still safely experience a little holiday spirit thanks to multiple holiday themed drive-thru experiences that have popped up this year around Southern California
So for those looking for a way to celebrate outside the house, these are the larger-scale holiday drive-thru events happening in the area. They require tickets and reservations and with COVID-19 regulations changing frequently, be sure to check with event organizers for the most updated information.
Electric Noel: This 40-minute journey takes people through “Santa’s Command Center” and an elf village at SilverLakes in Norco. A soundtrack played through car radios features music by Reba McEntire and songs from “Frozen.” Tickets are $39-$49 per car. Gates open at 5 p.m. and it runs through Jan. 3. The Elf on the Shelf’s Magical Journey: This drive-thru event at the Fairplex in Pomona runs through Jan. 3 and is where people can experience elves coming to the aid of Santa Claus (who has had to make an emergency landing in Pomona) as they drive through toy workshops, gingerbread villages and other seasonal scenes.
