Schedule includes Friday Night Live, Summer Concert Series, Music on the Square
Twin Lakes Area residents have a full slate of live music choices this weekend with the inaugural Friday Night Live event, the start of the Baxter Healthcare Summer Concert Series and the latest installment of Yellville’s Music on the Square.
Friday and Saturday nights’ concerts in Mountain Home will be the first two events to be held on the new Farmers and Merchants Bank Stage at Hickory Park.
The Kattie Laney Project will pull double duty this weekend, performing Friday night to open the Friday Night Live concert series and again on Saturday night in downtown Yellville for Music on the Square. Both events are free to the public and are scheduled for 7 p.m. start times.
Former Arkansas oilfield worker Heath Sanders will be the featured performer Saturday night to open the Baxter Healthcare Summer Concert Series. That event will also be free to the public and will be held at Hickory Park, with gates opening at 6 p.m., a grand opening and live DJ scheduled for 6:30 p.m., special guest Troy Farnam performing at 7 p.m. and Sanders taking the stage around 8:15 p.m.
The Friday Night Live series is presented by the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce and will feature popular local bands performing most Friday nights through the summer at Hickory Park. The event will include food vendors, craft booths and exhibits by local organizations.
