In the span of hours as Monday morning moved into the afternoon, a pair of Top247 quarterbacks came off the board with commitments to schools on both sides of the country.

Penn State landedDrew Allar, the No. 9 pro-style quarterback in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, and Oregon picked up a commitment from Tanner Bailey, who is the No 10 pro-style quarterback.

With those two commitments, the quarterback dominoes have fallen in a big way even as the NCAA has not allowed traditional unofficial visits or any official visits for the last year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

It also means of the top 20 quarterbacks in the 2022 class, 14 are already off the board.
