Several NFL head coaches looked on Wednesday from Florida’s Pro Day where projected first-rounders Kyle Pitts and Kadarius Toney showcased their individual talents ahead of next month’s NFL Draft. That elite pair put on a show, solidifying what NFL types thought prior to their workout — they’re going to give defenses fits at the next level.

“Well that’s what we want here, obviously,” coach Dan Mullen said on the SEC Network broadcast. “You want to have the players and the talent of players that these guys are continuing to work, get better and have the opportunity to go on and play at the next level. Every young guy’s dream.”

Pitts was the star attraction, repping 225 pounds on the bench press 22 times, broad-jumping 10 feet and 9 inches and clocking a reported unofficial 4.44-second 40-yard dash.

“Kyle Pitts obviously is a special, special player,” Mullen said. “Someone’s going to have a lot of fun at the next level being able to move him around with all the different scheme and the matchups that he can create out there on the field.”
