Scott Eastwood suits up as Superman in a new concept design that imagines the actor as Henry Cavill’s Kal-El successor for the DC Extended Universe.
Although it’s still not completely clear when (or if) Henry Cavill will reprise his role as the DC Extended Universe’s Superman, fans have discussed a number of different actors who could follow him up on the silver screen. Cavill is currently busy shooting The Witcher season two after a brief hiatus due to the ongoing pandemic, and although we’ll next see him in the upcoming Zack Snyder Cut of Justice League on HBO Max, it could be time for another star (like Scott Eastwood) to don the cape and tights.
This concept from digital artist “barrett.digital” on Instagram replaces Henry Cavill with Scott Eastwood in a completely fresh Superman suit for the DCEU movies. In the description, the artist explains that if Kal-El does indeed show up somewhere in Robert Pattinson’s The Batman universe, then the Pacific Rim and Suicide Squad star could be a good pick for the DC Comics icon. The Superman concept is quite detailed, offering a modern and intricate take on the hero’s classic look (complete with a strange set of new trunks). You can see Scott Eastwood as Superman below.
