In this week’s edition of the 247Sports weekly ranking notes, we lead off with a reminder that the Top247 rankings for the 2023 class will drop Wednesday around 11 a.m. CDT. That release marks the first 2023 Top247 update since the March 31 release, which represented the first full 2023 Top247 rankings following last August’s initial top 100.
Some moves within the existing 2023 Top247 will of course be revealed, but a number of risers are also prospects to watch moving forward. A few of those names include Marcus Washington, an athletic cornerback from Grovetown (Ga.) High School; David Ojiegbe, a physical, playmaking defensive end from Washington (D.C.) St. John’s; and Dylan Gooden, a long-framed pass-rusher from Olney (Md.) Our Lady of Good Counsel.
